IREN Limited (NASDAQ: IREN) is an Australian-headquartered, U.S.-operated Bitcoin miner and AI Cloud provider running 100% renewable-powered data centers across Texas and British Columbia. The company recently energized Sweetwater 1, the first 1.4 GW phase of its 2 GW Sweetwater campus in Texas, and signed a definitive $625 million agreement to acquire Mirantis (a Kubernetes-orchestration provider with 1,500 enterprise customers) to deepen its AI cloud capabilities. IREN expanded its AI Cloud GPU fleet to 150,000 GPUs (including 50,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs) with $9.3 billion of secured funding, making it one of the most aggressive miner-to-AI-infrastructure pivots in the sector.
