Applied Digital Corporation (NASDAQ: APLD) is an AI/HPC data center developer headquartered in Dallas, Texas, operating purpose-built campuses in North Dakota for hyperscale AI tenants. APLD signed a $7.5 billion 15-year lease with a U.S. investment-grade hyperscaler for 300 MW at the 430 MW Delta Forge 1 AI campus (lifting total contracted lease revenue above $23 billion), and recently closed a $300 million Goldman Sachs-led senior secured bridge facility for the third Polaris Forge 1 AI data center in Ellendale, ND. The company also completed the separation of its legacy cloud business as ChronoScale (Nasdaq: CHRN) in May 2026, retaining ~97% ownership while sharpening focus on dedicated colocation infrastructure.
