Core Scientific is winding down Bitcoin mining (sold 1,900 BTC for ~$175 million in January 2026, holdings now under 1,000 BTC) and pivoting to AI/HPC colocation, with the Pecos campus expanding to 1.5 GW gross power and a development pipeline exceeding 1.5 GW of leasable capacity, including the 270 MW CoreWeave hosting agreement. In April 2026, the company priced $3.3 billion of senior secured notes due 2031 to fund continued buildout.
