BitcoinMiningStock.io Is Now Ziven.io

Today we are retiring the name BitcoinMiningStock.io. The platform you use is now called Ziven (pronounced ZEE-ven), and it lives at ziven.io.

First, the things you probably want to know: every old link redirects to the new site. Your login, subscription, watchlist, and API keys work exactly as before. Same team, same data. The full list is below.

Why we made the move

When the platform first launched in 2024, the name was simply what we covered: Bitcoin mining stocks. It was a good name for that job.

Two years later, the market had stopped fitting that description. Many of miners we covered were pivoting into energy & AI infrastructure companies. The deals started as small pilot, then the counterparties became Microsoft, AWS, and other hyperscalers; and the contracts grew from millions into billions of dollars. Along the way, Bitcoin on the balance sheet earned a fancy name, "treasury holdings", and soon spread to Ethereum, Solana.

Our coverage followed the market the whole way: treasury tracking, data center capacity, hyperscaler deals. But somewhere along the way, we found ourselves carefully adding the same note everywhere: "we cover more than bitcoin mining stocks". It got old fast.

We hesitated longer than we should admit. Two years of recognition, citations, and trust are attached to that name, and we are a small team that earned every bit of it slowly. But the companies we cover were braver about this than we were. One after another, they renamed for the business they were becoming, and we wrote about each one. At some point it was clearly our turn.

Why "Ziven"

We wanted a name that could not be outgrown, because we never want to do this twice.

We also wanted to keep one thing: the purple (our theme colour). We chose it at launch for a simple reason. It had always been a lucky color for us, and it has been on every chart and every page since.

The new name is built from two pieces: zi, for the purple, and ven, from the Latin for "to arrive." Purple arrives. To us it means the same wish the platform was built on: that the people using it see what is coming a little earlier, with good insight, a bit of luck, and a future worth arriving at.

Thank you

If you have read our work, cited a chart, sent a correction, or argued with us about a number, you are part of why this platform exists. Thank you. The market we cover got bigger. Now the name has room for it.

See you at ziven.io. 馃挏
